The sixth exhibition season of Wiurila Summer will be opened by a large retrospective of painter Hannu Hakanen. The exhibition "Unplugged" presents a versatile, energetic artist who vividly comments art history in his works. Hannu Hakanen's production has not been previously presented in this extent, the exhibition displays works from the 1970´s to this day. "Tuntematon aika" - "The unknown time" 14.6.-25.8.2019

The second exhibition of Wiurila Summer presents 23 contemporary Finnish artists.
Original paintings, sculptures, video art and installations are on display in Wiurila Manor´s historical buildings and open green spaces.

The art exhibitions are produced and curated by the artist group Satu-Maaria Mäkipuro, Jaana Saario and Johanna Sarparanta.
The Wiurila Summer group´s aim is to bring high-quality contemporary art in to Wiurila Manor´s historical and unique spaces.
The production of the exhibitions are supported by Wiurila Manor and Salo City Cultural Services.
